small groups

We really care about supporting you in your faith journey. We believe in nurturing confident disciples who live out their faith seven days a week. St James Small Groups are at the heart of this, along with a structured Discipleship Track.

What is a small group?

Small groups are a brilliant opportunity for community. They often meet in homes around the Ribble Valley, but also in other locations. A small group usually has 8-12 members, and 2 leaders.

Why should I join a small group?

A small group is a great way to get connected into the St James' community, and to grow and develop your faith through Bible study, discussion and prayer.

New to faith or just exploring?

You might prefer to join an Alpha course to explore what faith means. If you're new to the church, you might like to join a DNA course, which explores the values of our church.

When do small groups meet?

Most small groups meet weekly in the evenings, but we have some small groups running during the day, some with a creche if you have small children and some at the weekend.

How do I join?
