St. James’ CE Primary School 
 

St James’ School on Greenacre Street has been part of our mission for over 100  years.  It is a Church School with a distinctive and unashamed Christian ethos. 

Some members of the church family teach at the school.  Many of the church family have children that attend the school.  Church members serve on the Governing Body. 

The Rector, the Chair of Governors and the Children’s worker take regular assemblies.   The school comes into Church once a month for an assembly and for special services at Harvest, Christmas and the end of the school year. 

The Church supports the school financially in a small way, but more important is the support we can give it through our prayers. 

We value and want to build on our links with the school.  It is a mission field right on our doorstep.
