Learning & Growing

Front of church 1We encourage everyone to be a part of a small group network.  These networks enable us to grow and provide support and fellowship as we seek to know Jesus and make Him known.

Taking the subject covered in the Sunday service we ask ourselves the ‘so what?’ question.

  • So what does the Bible say?
  • So what difference should it make to my life?
  • So what am I going to do about it?

There are three particular ways we encourage this:

Home groups

A group consisting of 6-12 people meeting fortnightly.  At present groups meet on:

  • Tuesday morning

  • Tuesday evening

  • Wednesday evening

  • Thursday evening

There is also a Thursday morning group for young mums where a crèche is provided.

Prayer Triplets or Partnerships

Meeting weekly to pray with and for each other provides a sense of accountability and care.

Intentional Relationships

Maybe you already meet with someone regularly for coffee, or some other activity. If so then why not use some or all of that time to talk about spiritual matters and to pray for each other.

Online Resources

A number of resources to assist you in your learning and growing are available to download from the Downloads page, these include MP3 recordings of the Sunday sermons and small group study material.

Future Opportunities

Watch out for other opportunities for learning and growing which include basic Christianity courses such as START and Alpha as well as confirmation classes and a course which enables us to find how best we can serve in the Church.
