Baptisms

St. James’ offers both baptisms and thanksgiving services for babies, children and adults.  These take place twice a term at the 10.30am service. 

Those who are thinking about having their children baptised should come to the Church Office on Monday evenings between 6.30pm and 7.30pm where the Rector will explain the process. 

Before we offer a date for your baptism a member of the church will come and visit you in your home to talk through the meaning of the baptism service. 

Weddings

If you live in the area around St. James’ Church (the parish) we will be delighted to marry you and your partner. 

Again, contact needs to be made with the Rector at the Church Office on Monday evenings between 6.30pm and 7.30pm where he will explain the process.
